Celebrating collective storytelling and uplifting local artists, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre's Here2Play event series connects Milwaukeeans more closely to one another and to their community. Here2Play explores an upcoming MCT production in partnership with local organizations throughout the city.

Join us on Thursday, February 15 from 6-8pm at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center to kick off our fourth play of the 2023-2024 season, THE MOUNTAINTOP written by Pulitizer Prize winner Katori Hall.

The evening will include free appetizers, a sneak peek into THE MOUNTAINTOP with live scene readings from our actors Bryant Bentley and N'Jameh Russell-Camara, a special performance by Bronzeville Arts from their upcoming production of KHLOE'S BEAUTIFUL BLUES by La'Ketta Caldwell, and a panel interrogating the term "leader" and what it means to be a leader in Milwaukee.

Panel moderated by Lexi Brunson, Owner & Editor-in-Chief of CopyWrite. Panelists include: Lafayette Crump, Commissioner of City Development, City of Milwaukee and Raynetta "Ray" Hill, Executive Director, Historic King Drive Business Improvement District.

RSVP HIGHLY ENCOURAGED! Due to high-interest, complimentary food and stage-view seating will be on a first come/first serve basis.

Cost: FREE and open to the community!

Location: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center at 1531 W Vliet St, Milwaukee, WI 53205. There is a small parking lot to the left of the center on Vilet, otherwise there is street parking.
