Experience the 20-21 Virtually Re-Imagined MCT Season!

The re-imagined 20-21 season has been developed so that we can deliver full-length plays, created with actors together in the same space, on sets, under lights, in costumes, with sound designs, and then recorded and carefully edited through three-camera format to come as close as we can to safely bringing you back inside the theater.

20-21 Virtual Subscription

    1. How do I access a production?
      • Productions will be available on our website alongside supplemental material like our ViewPoints series. These productions can be viewed once, on any device, including the ability to ChromeCast to your TV!
    2. Do I need to watch the production on a specific date or time?
      • THE ISLAND, THE WAY SHE SPOKE, and THE THANKSGIVING PLAY will all be available on-demand so that you can watch at any time during the run that is convenient for you! Due to licensing restrictions, UNDERNEATH THE LINTEL will need to be viewed at specific times on specific days—just like attending the theater in person.
    3. Will this feel like a Zoom meeting?
      • No! With the exception of our YOUNG PLAYWRIGHTS FESTIVAL SHOWCASE, which will be delivered in a Zoom format, it is our plan to physically gather actors in the theater so that we can create a production that feels as close to live performance as virtual delivery allows.*
  • In the event that future conditions change such that either MCT or our union partners deem gathering artists together unsafe (or a municipal order forbids it), our contingency plans will allow us to provide productions even with artists working purely virtually.
