Milwaukee Chamber Theatre's comprehensive education program features learning opportunities for people of all ages. We offer in-school workshops for middle and high school students, student matinees, internships and other opportunities for college students, and pre- and post-performance programs for all patrons.
MCT's flagship education program, the Young Playwrights Festival, features an annual playwriting residency and one-act play competition for high school students. Winning plays from two years running appear in a biennial showcase professionally produced by MCT.

Young Playwrights Festival Playwriting High School Residency
YPF Residencies are designed to meet both residency objectives and curricular needs of individual classrooms, as determined in partnership between MCT Education and classroom teacher.
Young Playwrights Festival Showcase
The YPF Showcase is a biennial event which features fully produced performances of three winning one-act plays in the Broadway Theatre Center's Studio Theatre and staged readings of three additional Honorable Mention winners. University-level or emerging professional designers and directors are engaged to bring the scripts to life on stage with age-appropriate local actors.
